She sought compensation for expenses like rebooking travel, dog care costs, and a ferry ticket she bought for him. The tribunal's referee, Krysia Cowie, dismissed the claim, stating the agreement didn't constitute a legally binding contract. Cowie clarified that the commitments made were typical of an intimate relationship and lacked the necessary intent to create enforceable legal obligations.
