Bayer Leverkusen clinched their first-ever German football league title, ending Bayern Munich's 11-year reign under coach Xabi Alonso. A decisive 5-0 victory against Werder Bremen sealed the Bundesliga win, 16 points ahead of Bayern with five games remaining. Celebrations erupted as fans stormed the pitch, with midfielder Florian Wirtz scoring a hat-trick in the final moments.
