In Bangladesh, 10,000 to 14,000 people die by suicide annually, the second leading cause of death after road accidents. A study found that among students aged 13-17, 4.4% of boys and 5.8% of girls commit suicide. Major factors include depression, academic pressure, failed relationships, excessive device use, social media's negative impact, and parental alienation.
