India is introducing e-medical visas for Bangladeshi citizens

India has introduced an e-Medical Visa facility for Bangladeshi citizens and plans to establish a new Assistant High Commission in Rangpur, aimed at aiding people in northwestern Bangladesh. This announcement was made during a meeting between the Prime Ministers of Bangladesh and India in Delhi. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasized the significance of the relationship, stating that Bangladesh is India's foremost development partner and that he prioritizes their bilateral ties. According to India's Ministry of External Affairs, the discussions focused on strengthening the historical connections between the two nations.
