Lawyer Zayed bin Naser has issued a legal notice to Coca-Cola Bangladesh Limited and The Coca-Cola Company, demanding Tk 1 lakh crore in compensation for allegedly insulting religious sentiments in Bangladesh. The notice claims Coca-Cola violated international law and Section 295A of the Penal Code, 1860, along with Sections 28 and 35 of the Cyber ​​Security Act, 2023, through a June 9 advertisement. It further accuses Coca-Cola's Coke Studio Bangla of threatening Bangladeshi culture and existence, causing significant cultural and artistic damage over the past two years.
