Police arrested Md. Shakil Ahmed (24), also known as Chhota Babu, in Debiganj, Panchagarh for allegedly posting AI-generated objectionable images and controversial content on social media. Shakil, a third-year student at Tejgaon College, allegedly shared an AI-made image of Zaima Rahman from his Facebook account on Tuesday (April 21), along with a caption that quickly went viral.

The post sparked outrage among local leaders and activists of Bangladesh Nationalist Party and its affiliated groups, creating tension in the area. Police were later informed, and on Wednesday (April 22), a team led by SI Farooq from Debiganj Police Station arrested Shakil from Bhaulaganj Bazar.

Officer-in-Charge Selim Malik said police verified the viral post and confirmed its authenticity.
