A young woman named Rimana has taken a bold stand against cyberbullying and online harassment. In a recent Facebook post, she shared that she reported several individuals who made abusive and offensive comments about her to their workplaces and educational institutions.

Rimana said she identified 10 people who had targeted her online. Even when some accounts were private, she gathered details about their jobs and educational backgrounds through Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn. She then emailed the relevant institutions with screenshots of the comments as evidence, sometimes copying multiple officials in the complaints.

According to her, two institutions have already responded. She claimed that at least two individuals may face consequences at work, including one person accused of making sexually harassing remarks. Rimana said that even if they are not fired, their employers should still be aware of their behavior and hold them accountable.

In her post, she explained that she no longer wants to stay silent about online abuse. Instead of only speaking out on social media, she wants to actively defend herself and take action against cyberbullying. Calling this her “first step,” she added that she may seek legal action in the future and stressed the importance of building stronger awareness around legal support for online harassment cases.
