A Malaysian man is facing backlash after divorcing his wife, who dedicated six years to caring for him while he was bedridden following a car accident. He even remarried within a week of their separation.

According to Sin Chew Daily, Nurul Syazwani married the man in 2016, and they maintained a long-distance relationship for two years, during which they had a son. After her husband was injured in a car accident, he lost the ability to move. For six years, Syazwani devoted herself to his care, feeding him through a nasogastric tube, changing his diapers, and assisting him with bathing.

In 2019, she began sharing her experiences on Facebook, gaining a following as she detailed the challenges she faced, including her fear of his cough and the daily rehabilitation sessions she conducted for him. Her family also supported her, allowing her moments of rest. Recently, however, she posted a wedding photo of her husband with another woman.
