Former State Minister for ICT, Zunaid Ahmed Palak, appeared in court for a hearing related to a case filed by the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC). Speaking to journalists, he expressed his frustration, saying, "Whenever I speak, the number of cases increases. They keep me handcuffed from behind. What's the point of speaking?"

Palak made these remarks on Monday while appearing before the court in connection with a case filed by the ACC, which accused him of acquiring assets beyond his known sources of income. At around 1:50 PM, he was brought before the Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions Judge Court and was later taken to jail following the hearing.

During this time, Palak’s lawyer, Advocate Tarikul Islam, stated that his client is repeatedly being shown as arrested in various cases and is frequently brought to court. This continuous legal pressure, he said, is causing Palak significant distress.
