The accusation states that the baby passed away after the ward boy stopped the oxygen supply because he had not received a tip. The baby's father, Belal Uddin, is a resident of Jarul Buniya in Shilkhali Union, Pekua Upazila, Cox’s Bazar. According to the family, the baby had been born seven days ago at Zamzam Hospital in Chakaria. Due to the newborn's pneumonia, the family decided to transfer the baby to CMCH for better treatment. On March 9, the baby was admitted to Bed No. 30 in Ward No. 32 at CMCH, where they had been receiving medical care since then. On the morning of the incident, around 10 AM, the baby appeared to be behaving normally and even playing. However, when the oxygen supply ran out, the father, Belal, requested the ward boy to replace it. The family claims that the ward boy refused to replenish the oxygen because he had not been given a tip. The ward boy then allegedly forced the parents to leave the ward, citing cleaning procedures, and made them wait outside for about an hour and a half. Once they were finally allowed to return, they discovered that the baby had tragically passed away.
