According to police officials and soldiers, at least four people, including civilians and security personnel, were killed during a raid carried out by Venezuelan authorities targeting opposition leader María Corina Machado.

Citing a senior Venezuelan official, The New York Times reported that clashes occurred when security forces attempted to detain opposition supporters.
