Former U.S. President Donald Trump’s Turnberry golf resort in Scotland has been vandalized with pro-Palestinian graffiti, with a protest group claiming responsibility for the act.

On Saturday, local media published images showing red paint scrawled across the course’s walls, displaying slogans such as "Free Gaza" and "Free Palestine," along with insults aimed at Trump. Additionally, the phrase "Gaza is not for sale" was painted on one of the greens, and parts of the course were damaged, with holes dug up.

The activist group Palestine Action took credit for the act, posting on social media platform X that their actions were a response to Trump’s stance on Gaza. Their statement read, "Whilst Trump attempts to treat Gaza as his property, he should know his own property is within reach."

This incident comes in the wake of Trump’s recent controversial remarks, where he suggested that the United States should take control of Gaza, relocate its over two million Palestinian residents, and develop the area into the "Riviera of the Middle East." His comments have sparked outrage across the Arab world.

Police Scotland has confirmed that they are investigating the vandalism.
