An 18-year-old transgender girl was brutally attacked at a roller-skating party in a shocking act of revenge, a court has heard. The aspiring model was reportedly targeted for allegedly concealing her gender identity before engaging in a se*x act with a boy. She was lured to the event, where a masked group of teenagers attacked her, shouting slurs.

In a violent 45-second assault, which was premeditated and filmed on Snapchat, the victim was knocked to the ground and kicked multiple times. Nineteen-year-old Summer Betts-Ramsey then drew a knife and stabbed her 14 times, inflicting wounds to her nose, thigh, hand, and buttocks. The victim was also beaten with roller skates and boots by other teenagers, who took her handbag before fleeing the scene, leaving her severely injured and bleeding. The incident occurred on February 10 of last year.
