In Gazipur, several individuals were injured in an attack carried out by local residents at the residence of AKM Mozammel Haque, the former Liberation War Affairs Minister of the fascist Awami League government. The victims of the attack have alleged that Awami League activists were behind the assault on Mozammel's house. Meanwhile, on the night of Friday, February 7, Sarjis Alam, the coordinator of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement, posted on Facebook, stating, “Today will be the last day for the Awami terrorists in Gazipur, we are coming….”

Reports indicate that at least 15 people sustained serious injuries during the attack on Mozammel's home. Local sources confirmed that the incident occurred around 10:30 PM on Friday. While rumors circulated suggesting that several people were killed during the attack, these claims have yet to be substantiated.

According to local eyewitnesses, a group of individuals gathered near AKM Mozammel's ancestral home in Dheerashram after the evening on Friday. Later that night, they suddenly launched an attack on the house, vandalizing it in the process. A loudspeaker announcement from the nearby mosque warned that robbers had entered the area. This announcement prompted local residents to respond and attack the assailants, resulting in several people being seriously injured. The injured were subsequently rushed to the hospital for medical treatment.
