The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has seized 124 bank accounts linked to deposed Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and her family, containing billions of taka. The Bangladesh Financial Intelligence Unit (BFIU) found Tk 635.14 crore in these accounts, as revealed by Bangladesh Bank during a high-level meeting chaired by the chief adviser on March 10.

Additionally, BFIU has confiscated a 60-katha RAJUK plot and eight flats. Authorities also discovered assets belonging to Hasina and her family in the UK, USA, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, and the Cayman Islands.

A Russian slush fund, suspected of being used for illicit purposes, was found in a Malaysian bank. Six cases have been filed against Hasina and her family members for charges of plundering and forgery, with the ACC approving charge sheets in these cases. A travel ban has also been imposed on seven of Hasina’s family members.
