Mohammad Kamrul Huda, the former Joint Convenor of Comilla South District BNP and President of Chauddagram Upazila BNP, has asserted that the fascist government was not overthrown by any coordinator but by the mastermind behind the July Revolution movement, National Leader Tarique Rahman. He highlighted that Tarique Rahman, from his position in London, steered the movement to success with the collective efforts of their team.

Kamrul Huda made these remarks as the chief guest at the biannual conference of the Batisar Union Youth BNP on Tuesday evening (February 11).

He further remarked, "Some (coordinators) try to deny the events of 1971, but the heroic legacy of President Ziaur Rahman in that year, especially on December 16, is undeniable. December 16 should never be a point of controversy. Those who opposed our independence in 1971 are the same individuals conspiring today to prevent BNP from coming to power."
