BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman met with rickshaw, van, and auto drivers, exchanging greetings with the working-class community and inquiring about their families.

The meeting took place on Tuesday (13 January) evening at his Gulshan office.

During the interaction, drivers shared their struggles, hardships, and various forms of harassment with him. Tarique Rahman listened attentively and thanked the rickshaw drivers for serving the city through their relentless labor.

He also urged them to follow traffic laws to ensure city discipline and passenger safety. Additionally, he outlined BNP’s plans for low-income citizens if the party comes to power. He announced the introduction of a “Family Card” to provide essential goods at fair prices and government benefits directly to the heads of underprivileged households.
