A recent video featuring BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has gone viral after he appeared visibly annoyed when a supporter tried to take a selfie with him. The incident occurred as Fakhrul was leaving an event, and the short clip has since drawn mixed reactions online.

The caption accompanying the video emphasized that Fakhrul, being an elderly and unwell individual, should be treated with respect and not approached in such a way for photos.

The post further urged the public to maintain decorum when interacting with respected political figures, noting that taking unsolicited selfies can be inconsiderate. Describing Mirza Fakhrul as a seasoned and dignified leader, the author called on everyone to show courtesy and avoid behavior that might cause discomfort—especially to seniors or ailing personalities.
