A new study by the international organization The Freedom Fund reveals that nearly 33% of boys living on Dhaka’s streets have faced sexual abuse. These children struggle every day for food, safe shelter, and protection from adult harassment. Researchers say street boys remain overlooked, with very limited shelters, mental health support, or rehabilitation services. The report stresses the urgent need for stronger policies, proper investment, and better child protection measures.
