On October 16, students from the anti-discrimination movement protested outside the High Court, demanding the resignation of judges perceived as biased in favor of the Awami League. They gathered around 11:30 a.m. at Dhaka University's Raju sculpture before marching to the High Court, chanting slogans like “Hang the murderer Hasina” and “Watch out, bugs of dictatorship.” Coordinators Sarjis Alam and Hasnat Abdullah had announced the protest on social media, calling for collective action against what they described as partisan judicial appointments. The movement also seeks support from ordinary lawyers in their demands for accountability.
