Saudia has unveiled a new high-tech “cooling ihram” to help pilgrims stay comfortable in extreme heat during Hajj and Umrah. Created with Landor and cooling-fabric expert brrr®, the ihram features patented minerals, moisture-wicking, and quick-dry technology that can reduce skin temperature by 1–2°C while providing UPF 50+ protection. Fully Shariah-compliant, it was first showcased at this year’s Arabian Travel Market and will be offered to Saudia passengers for a cooler, more comfortable pilgrimage.
