Saudi Arabia has unveiled ‘Milaf Cola,’ the world’s first soft drink made from dates. Known for their remarkable health benefits and status as a natural superfood, dates contrast with the typical perception of soft drinks as unhealthy. Milaf Cola aims to bridge this gap by combining nutrition with the pleasure of a refreshing beverage.

The launch took place at the ongoing Riyadh Date Festival, with Saudi Minister of Agriculture Abdulrahman Al-Fadley and Thurath Al-Madina Company CEO Bander Al-Qahtani officiating the event. This innovative product aligns with the company’s vision of transforming date-based consumables.

Thurath Al-Madina, a subsidiary of Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF), has focused on creating groundbreaking date-derived products. Milaf Cola represents the culmination of extensive research and development to ensure it meets international food safety and quality standards. Designed for both local and global markets, the drink balances exceptional flavor with substantial nutritional value.
