A group of 30 individuals carried out a robbery in Dhanmondi 8 and attempted to escape, but four were caught during their getaway.

Among those arrested are two North South University (NSU) students—Yeasin Hasan Ivan and Wakeel Mahmud Shauzat. Reports suggest that Ivan is affiliated with the Khilgaon Thana Chhatra League.
