The medicines, valued at around Tk 170 million, were sourced from the Netherlands. Thanks to his efforts, 2,500 vials of life-saving injection drugs have been imported, with many already being administered to patients. According to RMCH sources, the medicines were donated by the Netherlands-based company Beekbergen, which provided 2,500 vials at no cost. On Wednesday, around 2,000 vials were handed over to the hospital’s director, while the rest were preserved in the hospital’s central medicine store for future use. Shreyan, a student of the 64th batch of Rajshahi Medical College, successfully brought the medicines with the help of Dutch physicians. His initiative has been praised widely, and officials confirmed that the medicines will save the lives of many critically ill patients. The handover was attended by Brigadier General FM Shamim Ahmed, Director of the hospital.
