Prime Minister Tarique Rahman is set to address the nation this evening.

According to a press release from the Press Information Department (PID), the speech will be broadcast at 6:30 PM. It will air simultaneously across all state and private television channels, including BTV, as well as radio stations and online news platforms to ensure nationwide coverage. The PID has also asked electronic media outlets to display the announcement as a “scroll” ahead of the broadcast.

Tarique Rahman was sworn in as the country’s new prime minister yesterday, along with 25 ministers and 24 state ministers, with the president administering their oaths.
