Prominent Indian actor and social activist Prakash Raj has warned that India is undergoing what he described as a “preparation for genocide,” accusing the country’s ruling political forces of targeting Muslims, tribal communities, and other minorities.

Raj made the remarks at a public event titled “Longing for Justice”, organized by the Association for Protection of Civil Rights (APCR) in Hyderabad. Although delivered late last month, video clips of his speech have recently gone viral on social media, sparking renewed political controversy and strong reactions from the ruling establishment.

“Please try to understand, what is happening in this country is a preparation for genocide,” Raj said. “They want to wipe out Muslims, tribal people, and minorities. That is their agenda.”
