The Awami League announced a protest march in Gulistan to honor Shaheed Noor Hossain and demand the removal of undemocratic forces. However, the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement has scheduled a counter-gathering at the same location. Hasnat Abdullah, the movement's coordinator, urged Awami League leaders and activists to join the streets for at least one minute to engage in dialogue. He also criticized Awami League leaders for staying abroad, questioning their claim of popular support. Meanwhile, BNP and other party leaders gathered in front of the Awami League office, but Awami League activists were absent.
