A Pallabi Police Station ASI was arrested in Uttara on Sunday night with 5,310 yaba pills during separate raids. Md Shafiqul Islam, 43, was arrested after police detained 24-year-old Wasim with 50 yaba pills and questioned him. Police later seized 200 pills from Shafiqul and another 5,110 from a flat in Azampur. A case was filed under the Narcotics Control Act, and both suspects were sent to jail by a court. Police said the two allegedly sourced yaba from various parts of the country and sold them in Dakshinkhan and surrounding areas.
