Nahid Islam, who oversaw the Ministry of Information, has stepped down from the advisory council of the interim government. Speaking to the media after submitting his resignation, he said, "I have submitted my resignation letter and resigned from all committees as well."

Following his departure, many have extended their best wishes. The Chief Advisor's Press Secretary, Shafiqul Alam, also shared his regards, expressing hope for Nahid’s future, saying, "Perhaps one day, Nahid may even become the country’s Prime Minister."

On Tuesday afternoon (February 25), he conveyed this optimism in a post on his verified Facebook account.

The Press Secretary praised Nahid, stating, "Nahid Islam is among the sharpest political minds in the country’s recent history. At just 26, he has already led a mass uprising against a brutal dictatorship. He is poised to play a crucial role in national politics in the coming years. Only Allah knows—one day, he may even become the country’s Prime Minister."
