Last night around 3 AM in Gulshan-2, a mugger armed with a knife was caught red-handed while attempting yet another robbery inside Sector 2. This time, however, his luck ran out. A group of alert locals confronted him during the act, and he failed to escape. Just the night before, the same mugger had reportedly robbed a house guard at knifepoint, taking away his moneybag and mobile phone. But during this second attempt, things didn’t go his way. The locals quickly overpowered and detained him before he could flee, eventually handing him over to the police.
