Amid the July Revolution, a female rickshawpuller unexpectedly became a powerful symbol of bravery and unity. As protesters faced brutal crackdowns by police and Awami League affiliates during raids across Dhaka, she risked her own safety to help demonstrators escape. Witnesses recall her skillfully navigating through chaos with fierce determination, rescuing those cornered by barricades and batons. Though her name remains unknown and her story largely absent from the mainstream, her fearless actions have quietly become legendary among those who witnessed them — a moving reminder of how ordinary individuals can show extraordinary courage in times of turmoil.
