On May 25, in Surat Thani province, Thailand, a man lost his life while trying to harm his ex-girlfriend after she refused to reconcile with him.

According to reports from local media, the man went to his ex-girlfriend’s house with the intention of persuading her to get back together. 

When she rejected his request, he threw an M26 grenade towards her home.

The grenade initially did not detonate, but when he tried to throw it a second time, it exploded in his hand, killing him instantly.

The blast injured three elderly relatives of the woman, but she remained unharmed as she had managed to run inside the house just before the explosion.

When the police arrived at the scene, they discovered 500 grams of crystal methamphetamine, commonly known as ‘ice,’ inside the man’s car, which had also been damaged by the explosion.

Authorities confirmed that the man had a prior criminal record and had served five months in jail in 2020 for drug-related offenses.
