West Bengal’s former Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has claimed that she has complete knowledge of a “major killing” incident in Bangladesh and alleged possible involvement of the Indian government. She made the remarks during a protest at Dharmatala’s W-Channel in Kolkata.

Banerjee stated that a “major killer” from Bangladesh allegedly entered India through Meghalaya and was later arrested by the Special Task Force (STF) in West Bengal. She further claimed that this arrest triggered “revolutions” in Bangladesh.

She also alleged that Indian Home Minister Amit Shah contacted her following the arrest and instructed her to ensure that West Bengal Police did not publicize the matter.

According to Banerjee, she had remained silent on the issue earlier but chose to speak out now, saying that “things have crossed the extreme limit of oppression.” During the rally, when supporters asked her to reveal names, she refused, saying it was “in the interest of the country” and to avoid unrest in Bangladesh.

She further remarked, “Who ordered the killing, and whose names came out? Even though the government has changed, I know everything. My heart is a storehouse of knowledge, information, and truth.”
