Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said Artificial Intelligence could play a key role in reducing road fatalities by as much as 80 percent. He made the remarks while addressing a workshop on road safety. 

Responding to a question on the impact of artificial intelligence, Fadnavis said human error accounts for the majority of road accidents. He noted that advanced AI-based systems could help identify and correct such mistakes.
