Lulu and his family were tragically killed in an Israeli airstrike on their home in Gaza, captured in a photo just before the strike. None survived. This incident is part of the ongoing Israel-Palestine conflict, which has destroyed 902 Palestinian families in Gaza over the past year, with Israeli military operations causing significant civilian casualties.

Human rights organizations report that residential buildings are often targeted, leading to entire families being killed, including children and the elderly. The intense bombardments have led to the collapse of multi-story structures, leaving widespread devastation and underscoring the heavy toll on civilians.
