Bangladeshi model Jessia Islam represented her country at the Miss Grand International 2024 competition in Thailand, utilizing her outfit to communicate messages from the student anti-discrimination movement.

On stage, she donned a yellow gown adorned with black slogans such as "All Eyes on Bangladesh," "Student Protest," "Quota Movement," "Freedom," "Peace," "We Want Justice," and "Justice for All." These slogans echo several hashtags used during the student protests last July.
