According to a report by The Times of Israel, a massive protest took place in Bangladesh condemning the ongoing genocide in Gaza. The demonstration, held at Dhaka’s Suhrawardy Udyan, saw an estimated crowd of around 100,000 people. Protesters waved Palestinian flags and chanted slogans demanding freedom for Palestine. The rally garnered international attention as participants fiercely criticized global leaders for backing Israel’s military actions. They beat and burned images of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, former U.S. President Donald Trump, and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, accusing them of supporting Israel’s offensive. Protesters also carried symbolic coffins, representing the lives lost in Gaza, in what became one of the largest pro-Palestine demonstrations in South Asia.
