Dr. Muhammad Yunus, awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2006 for his microcredit innovation, may be eligible for the Nobel again for his "Three Zeros Theory" outlined in his 2017 book A World of Three Zeros. The theory proposes three key goals: Zero Poverty, Zero Unemployment, and Zero Net Carbon Emissions. Dr. Yunus believes poverty is a social issue that can be solved through microcredit and social businesses, creating financial independence and employment. His model also emphasizes environmentally sustainable solutions to reduce carbon emissions. By adopting this theory globally, he envisions a prosperous, sustainable future. Dr. Yunus' groundbreaking ideas could potentially bring him a second Nobel Prize if widely implemented, offering solutions to some of the world's most pressing issues.
