The feature could improve low-light photography while also offering greater control over depth of field, bringing the iPhone closer to a professional camera experience.

A wider aperture allows more light to reach the sensor, which can help capture more detail and better colors in low-light conditions. It can also create a shallower depth of field, making the subject stand out more clearly from the background.
