A burglary attempt in Kota, Rajasthan, ended in failure after a man got stuck in a house’s exhaust fan opening in the Pratap Nagar area, police reported. The incident occurred while the residents were away on a visit to Khatu Shyam Temple and returned home around 1 a.m. to find the suspect trapped halfway through the exhaust hole.

According to the police, preliminary investigations revealed that two suspects arrived in a four-wheeler late at night and tried to enter the house via the exhaust opening. One suspect became stuck and could not free himself, while the other fled the scene.

The family alerted the police, who rescued the man. He sustained minor injuries and received medical attention before being taken into custody. A case has been registered, and police are searching for the second suspect, reviewing nearby CCTV footage to trace the vehicle and movements of those involved.
