Tensions soared in occupied Kashmir after the Indian army issued a stern warning, stating that anyone displaying a Pakistani flag would be shot. This move was intended to curb support for Pakistan amidst ongoing unrest in the region. In a bold act of defiance, a Kashmiri painted the Pakistani flag on a cow, an animal held in high reverence in India. The act served as both a powerful protest and a symbolic challenge to Indian authorities, emphasizing the deep-seated resentment and resistance among Kashmiris living under military occupation.
