Brazilian forward Neymar has spoken about the possibility of reuniting with his former Barcelona teammates Lionel Messi and Luis Suárez at Inter Miami, stating that "football is full of surprises." Currently 32 years old, Neymar is under contract with Al Hilal until June but has faced frequent speculation regarding his club future due to limited playing time since joining the Saudi Pro League team.

After moving to the Gulf state, Neymar suffered an ACL injury while on international duty. His return to fitness has been hampered by smaller injuries along the way. Speaking to CNN Sport, Neymar said, "Playing with Messi and Suárez again would be incredible. They are my friends, and we still keep in touch. Reviving this trio would be interesting. I’m happy at Al Hilal and in Saudi Arabia, but who knows? Football is unpredictable."

Messi and Suárez reunited at Inter Miami in December 2023, leading the team to win the MLS Supporters’ Shield in 2024 and setting a record for the most regular-season points in the league's history. Neymar also commented on his aspirations to play in the 2026 World Cup, hosted by the U.S., Mexico, and Canada, with Brazil.

"I want to be there, and I will try my best," Neymar said. "I know it will be my last World Cup, my final opportunity, and I will give everything I have to be part of it."
