Five Israeli soldiers were killed and 14 others injured in a roadside bomb explosion in Beit Hanoun, northern Gaza, on July 7. Despite the attack, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met with U.S. President Donald Trump at the White House, stating that the incident would not hinder ongoing ceasefire talks. Netanyahu praised Trump’s efforts in promoting peace, citing the Abraham Accords and nominating him for the Nobel Peace Prize.
