A fire broke out at a wet market in Sector 11 of Uttara, Dhaka. Three fire service units are currently working to control the blaze.

Rakibul Hasan, duty officer at the Fire Service control room, confirmed the incident, saying the fire was reported at 5:40 pm on Wednesday (28 January). Three units have arrived at the scene, while two more are on their way.

The Fire Service has not yet confirmed the cause of the fire or reported any casualties.
