The Sports Ministry, BCB, Buffafe, Bangladesh Olympic Association (BOA), and Bangladesh Army honored the Bangladesh women's football team after their second consecutive SAFF championship victory. Walton, a long-time sponsor, presented refrigerators to the 32 members of the SAFF contingent, including players and staff, on November 17. During a meeting with the chief adviser, footballers shared challenges, such as poor living conditions and lack of electricity in remote areas. Captain Sabina highlighted Monika’s home without electricity, making it hard to use a fridge. Walton's FM Iqbal bin Anwar Don promised prompt electricity access and offered cash alternatives for those not needing a fridge. The honoring ceremony also addressed the need for more support for women footballers.
