He has been offered an impressive annual salary of 18.3 million taka along with additional bonuses amounting to 24.2 million taka. His compensation package also includes health insurance, school benefits for his children, and coverage for his own education expenses. Hasan Ul Banna began his role as a module development engineer at Intel's Oregon office on January 6, where he is working on logic transistor development. Before securing this position, Hasan Ul Banna graduated from the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at East West University in Bangladesh. He then pursued a master's degree from Yongnam University in South Korea, followed by a PhD from Michigan State University in the United States, completing his doctorate in just three and a half years. Prior to joining Intel, he also taught at a university in China. In a reflection on his journey, GM Hasan Ul Banna shared that he started applying for jobs during his PhD in 2024. In April of that year, he received a call from Intel for an interview. After a rigorous three-stage process, he was offered the job in June. Despite his nerves throughout the process, he ultimately succeeded, saying that the final interview was the most challenging, where he faced tough questions from a panel of scientists, engineers, and technicians. He felt that the interview tested everything he had learned throughout his academic and professional life. Hasan Ul Banna described receiving the job offer as the realization of a lifelong dream. However, his work didn’t stop there. After completing his PhD, he focused even more on his studies before officially starting his job at Intel. He emphasized that hard work, dedication, and perseverance played a key role in his success. For Bangladeshi students aspiring to work at companies like Intel, Hasan Ul Banna stressed the importance of not only achieving good academic results but also developing leadership skills by getting involved in organizations and clubs. These experiences can be invaluable later in life. Hailing from Badalgachi, Naogaon, Hasan Ul Banna attended school in Joypurhat and completed his SSC in 2006 from Akkelpur FU Pilot High School and his HSC in 2008 from Akkelpur MR Degree College. To other Bangladeshi students aspiring to follow in his footsteps, he offered this advice: "If you don't dream, you will never try, and if you don't try, you will never achieve anything great. Along with academic success, it’s important to acquire leadership qualities through involvement in various organizations and clubs, which will be immensely helpful in the future."
