Two new passenger train services, the 'Jahanabad Express' and the 'Ruposhi Bangla Express,' will start operating on December 24, connecting Dhaka to Khulna and Benapole via Padma Bridge. The new routes will significantly reduce travel time, with passengers reaching Khulna or Benapole in about 3 hours and 45 minutes, compared to the previous 8-hour journey. Tickets for the trains will be available from December 21 at station counters, online, and through mobile apps. The trains will operate regularly with one day off each week.
