At Mathura's Banke Bihari temple, devotees mistook water from an AC unit flowing down an elephant statue for sacred 'charanamrit' after a viral video surfaced online. The video shows people eagerly drinking the water, with some even collecting it in cups. Despite warnings from others in the crowd and temple priests, many continued to drink it. This sparked reactions online, with some commenters calling for better education to combat such superstitions and questioning why people didn't think critically before joining the crowd.
