Faruk Hossain and Jakiya Sultana, a couple in their forties, have recently passed the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) exams. What makes their accomplishment even more extraordinary is that they did it alongside their son, Hujjatul Islam Fahim.

Their journey started long ago when they married as teenagers in 2002. Life's responsibilities soon took over, leading them to leave school and move to Dhaka in search of work. Over the next 20 years, they raised three children and built their family and livelihood.
