The United States is investigating a leak of highly classified intelligence concerning Israel's potential retaliatory actions against Iran, according to three sources familiar with the matter. One source confirmed the authenticity of the leaked documents, while a U.S. official characterized the leak as “deeply concerning” in a statement to CNN.

The documents, dated October 15 and 16, emerged online on Friday after being shared via Telegram by an account named “Middle East Spectator.” Labeled as top secret, these documents indicate they were meant exclusively for the U.S. and its “Five Eyes” intelligence partners—Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom. They outline Israel’s apparent preparations for a strike against Iran, with one document, linked to the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, noting the movement of munitions by Israel as part of the planning.
